Mind and Performance

Team and group work
In the last 14 years I and have gained valuable experience in the field of corporate training and team and leadership development. I have worked in Africa, the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom with companies and entities such as Diageo, HSBC, Reuters, Redbull, London Business School and more.
If you would like to make a difference with your Team Development budget and you would like a bespoke package that addresses your team's development needs and that exceeds your expectations - then call.
Avoid the 'Euphoric but useless' tag for your team get-togethers. If you wish to get value for money and lasting benefit then call to discuss.

If there are individual team members who are performing below capacity then individual work will in nearly all cases, be well worth the investment. Often a new leader will cull people they think are not up to scratch. With the costs of letting someone go, recruiting a replacement and affording them the time to get up to speed, the alternative I offer is worth a conversation. The expense of a 'Breakthrough' session to bring them back up to capacity is far less than the alternative costs and it is a safe bet that they were not recruited or promoted because they couldn't so the job. It may be that some leadership training or other skills training such as communication or rapport skills will help but removing the mental/emotional interference that is lowering their performance is the main intervention and this makes sense on a human level as well as a business results level. It is new way of dealing with that situation and is not to be confused with remedial coaching that some are offered.
Often a Team Development Programme will highlight individuals' behaviours that need changing or modifying for the good of the team. Giving feedback to highlight these is really as much as most teams manage and often this does little to change the behaviour in the long term. The individual work that I offer is, I believe, the best, fastest and most efficient way to effect this behavioural change.

Longevity is the Holy Grail of team development and to work at the transformational level that allows this to happen is the only way to achieve this. You can do some of it in a group programme but working with individuals at the level of real behavioural change and resilience building (by emotional resolution and core-belief change), is the difference that makes it really possible. The workplace is beset with levels of depression, anxiety and stress; lower these quickly and significantly and commensurate performance increases occur.
